Terms and conditions
By booking, attending, or purchasing any class, package, or membership at The Studio N20, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT
1.1 All classes, packages, and memberships must be booked via The Studio N20 website, mobile application, or in-studio.
1.2 Full payment is required at the time of booking.
1.3 Purchases are personal and non-transferable.
1.4 Refunds are not provided except where required by law or under the Cooling-Off provisions outlined in Section 4.
1.5 The Studio N20 reserves the right to amend class schedules, instructors, pricing, and availability at any time. Reasonable notice will be provided where practicable.
2. CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS
2.1 Clients must cancel a booked class no later than 12 hours before the scheduled start time.
2.2 Late cancellations or failure to attend will result in the session being forfeited and deducted from the relevant package or membership.
2.3 Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in temporary booking restrictions at the studio’s discretion charged at £10 per class
3. HEALTH, SAFETY & PARTICIPATION
3.1 By attending classes, you confirm that you are medically fit to participate in physical exercise.
3.2 You must inform your instructor prior to class of any injury, medical condition, pregnancy, recent surgery, or limitation that may affect participation.
3.3 Participation in physical activity carries inherent risk. You voluntarily assume responsibility for your participation and agree to exercise within your personal limits.
3.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Reformer Pilates Safety
3.5 Reformer Pilates classes involve specialised equipment including moving platforms and resistance springs.
3.6 By attending a Reformer class, you agree to follow instructor guidance at all times and not adjust equipment without instruction.
3.7 The Studio N20 reserves the right to decline participation in Reformer classes where safety may be compromised.
3.8 Pregnant clients must seek medical clearance and inform instructors prior to attending Reformer sessions.
4. COOLING-OFF PERIOD (ONLINE & REMOTE PURCHASES)
4.1 Where a membership, class package, or drop-in class is purchased online, via mobile application, or remotely, clients have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.
4.2 This right applies only to distance contracts and does not apply to purchases made in person at the studio.
4.3 If you attend classes during the 14-day cooling-off period, you expressly request that services begin immediately.
4.4 If cancellation is requested within 14 days after attending one or more classes, The Studio N20 reserves the right to deduct:
The full standard drop-in rate for each class attended; or
A proportionate amount of the membership fee reflecting usage.
4.5 Where the value of services used equals or exceeds the amount paid, no refund will be due.
4.6 Once a specific dated class, workshop, or event has taken place, cancellation rights in respect of that session are waived.
4.7 To cancel within the cooling-off period, written notice must be sent to:

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving valid cancellation notice, subject to lawful deductions.
5. MEMBERSHIPS
5.1 General
Memberships are personal and non-transferable.
Membership benefits apply only during the active membership period.
Unused sessions are not refunded or carried forward unless expressly stated.
5.2 Direct Debit
Monthly memberships are payable by Direct Debit and operate on a rolling monthly basis unless otherwise stated.
By entering into a Direct Debit agreement, you authorise The Studio N20 to collect recurring membership fees on the agreed billing date.
Membership fees will continue to be collected until cancellation notice is provided in accordance with Section 5.3.
Failed payments may result in suspension of access until resolved.
The Studio N20 reserves the right to amend membership fees with reasonable notice.
5.3 Cancellation of Membership
Where a membership includes a minimum commitment period (including 6-month terms), cancellation is not permitted before the end of that period except within the 14-day cooling-off period or where required by law.
5.4 Membership Freeze
Memberships may be frozen for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 30 days per membership term.
Freeze requests must be submitted in writing prior to the freeze start date and cannot be applied retrospectively.
Membership end dates will be extended accordingly.
5.5 Suspension or Termination
The Studio N20 reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships without refund where these Terms are breached or behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
6. STUDIO CONDUCT
6.1 Clients must arrive on time. Late entry may be refused at the discretion of the instructor.
6.2 Appropriate attire must be worn at all times.
6.3 Clients must behave respectfully toward staff and other clients.
6.4 Mobile phones must be silenced during classes.
6.5 The Studio N20 reserves the right to preserve the safety, atmosphere, and integrity of the studio environment and may decline or withdraw access where behaviour falls below expected standards.
7. PERSONAL PROPERTY
Personal belongings are brought onto the premises at the client’s own risk. The Studio N20 accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage.
8. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA
From time to time, photography or video may be captured for promotional purposes. Clients who prefer not to appear must notify The Studio N20 in writing prior to participation.
9. FORCE MAJEURE & OPERATIONAL DISRUPTION
The Studio N20 shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Government restrictions
Public health emergencies
Utilities failure
Natural disasters
Instructor illness
Building or structural issues
Where in-person services cannot operate, The Studio N20 reserves the right to:
Provide online alternatives
Adjust timetables
Extend membership validity at its discretion
Compensation shall not be payable for disruption arising from events outside reasonable control.
10. AMENDMENTS
The Studio N20 may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will be available via the website, mobile application, or in-studio. Continued booking or attendance constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
